The Fire-Lite D355PL is a non-relay, Duct Smoke Detector with a photoelectric sensor. Also, the sensor includes a SD355R remote test capable addressable low-profile photoelectric smoke detector.

Able to operate in a broad temperature range, the Fire-Lite D355PL is a versatile solution for a multitude of environments. Additional wiring space is provided by a 3/4″ knockout. The detector mounts easily to a round or rectangular duct.

The InnovairFlex duct smoke detector senses smoke in the most challenging conditions; operating in airflow speeds of 100 to 4,000 feet per minute, temperatures of -4 degrees F to 158 degrees F, and a humidity range of 0 to 95 percent (non-condensing).

Model D355PL Firelite Air Duct Smoke Detector utilizes photoelectric technology for the detection of smoke. This detection method, when combined with an efficient housing design, samples air passing through the duct and allows detection of a developing hazardous condition.

When sufficient smoke is sensed, an alarm signal is initiated at the fire control panel monitoring the detector as well as appropriate action can be taken to shut off fans, blowers, change over air handling systems, etc. These actions can facilitate the management of toxic smoke and fire gases throughout the areas served by the duct system.
