The Honeywell LT-SEN-M Li-Ion Tamer Monitoring Sensor comprise on-board detection algorithms making them acutely sensitive to lithium-ion battery off-gassing compounds. They do not require calibration, are compatible with all forms of lithium-ion battery form factors and chemistries and have a lifetime comparable to a typical lithium-ion battery system. The Monitoring sensors are installed at the battery racks. Overall it detects electrolyte solvent vapors, is sensitive to single-cell failures, compatible with various Li-ion chemistries, and works with an interface module for system integration, providing crucial safety for battery racks.
