Description

The Notifier AMPS-24 is an addressable power supply and battery charger with up to three 24 VDC outputs. It operates in either FlashScan® or CLIP (Classic Loop Interface Protocol) mode with the NFS-3030/NFS2-3030 Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP). It can also be use as the primary power supply for the NCA-2 Network Control Annunciator. The AMPS-24 is an “addressable” device, meaning the fire alarm control panel (FACP) can monitor and control it directly through the SLC communication loop.

This allows the FACP to know the specific status (e.g., AC loss, battery trouble, brownout) of the power supply and connected devices. The unit includes a current-limited charger for sealed lead-acid batteries (7 AH to 200 AH), ensuring the system remains operational during a primary AC power loss. It provides up to three regulated 24 VDC outputs to power auxiliary devices such as horns, strobes, remote annunciators (like the NCA-2), and other modules, expanding the capacity of the main panel. It is designed to operate in either FlashScan or CLIP (Classic Loop Interface Protocol) modes and is compatible with Notifier NFS-3030/NFS2-3030 Fire Alarm Control Panels.
